The game that is the Stock Market is all about following rules and playing the game better than anyone else.
I remember deciding not to pursue the corporate life and just trade my way out of the rat race. I was confident and I worked hard for it. I knew this was my calling.
Started with 160k late 2010. Borrowed 2M in 2012. Then Another 2M in 2013. Lost 2.4M in the process. I knew it wasn't going to be a walk in the park. If it were, it would be like Jurassic Park.
But I kept going. I Made friends along the way. Made enemies. Burned bridges. Found my identity as a trader. Found the system that was right for me. Paid off my investors. Bought them out of my funds. And the rest was history.
To my friends, students, and all who follow my blog, http://zeefreaks.blogspot.com/ Do not pray that you will gain hundreds, thousands or millions looking for a jackpot stock. Pray for wisdom, discipline and the ability to endure hardships. Pray that God will mold you to become a living testimony of His goodness. And pray extra hard that you won't be trapped by the Love of Money.
Today, my trading port just reached a figure I was only dreaming about years ago. The rest of my story how I started, the lessons I've learned, the technical notes, up to the present is all here in my blog for everyone to read. Inspired? Share it. Because if I was able to make it, why can't you?
"Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
Wonderful....very inspiring post. May your tribe increase. Congrats!

ReplyDeletePXP ung nasa baba. Buy on breakout? :)
ReplyDeleteHi ZF, whoah! what a revelation! what else can i say? hmmm... it's ironic 'coz i had same vision when i first discovered how money can be made, doubled, trebled in the stock market back in '06 and some successes led me to believe that i can quit my job and do it full time but our big difference i'm not as brave (crazy) as you and too coward to trade on margin... i may sound over-qualified to your ZFT system but given a chance I can be a good addition to your tribe and we'll be a good team! congrats! keep inspiring! :)
ReplyDeletehello puhunan. maybe in the future if we ever plan to have Joint Ventures with non ZFTs. you have good results in your trading as well as I can see from your posts.
DeleteHi, thanks for taking time to reply. that's what I have in mind, a JV of sort... I'm all for it, just let me know please. i'll be waiting for the right opportunity to be under your wings or be one of you.
DeleteHello sir/ma'am puhunan, can you give us a link to your blog please? I want to read as well and hopefully learned something from it.
DeleteThanks!
Hi ZF can you recommend books that give you a big help on your success aside from experience :D
ReplyDeleteI really wish I could. But I can't since I haven't read any myself. All I can offer is this blog.
DeleteThis is so inspiring especially for newbies like me! God bless Sir ZF
ReplyDeletevisiting here & reading (almost) all of them is keeping the fire within me burnin. It's now time to burn the midnight oil..Godspeed.
ReplyDeleteI am also thinking of borrowing additional capital, but I am not as fortunate as you to find friends or relatives to trust me. I am still a newbie. Just started last January 2015 with 191k capital. After a year, I lost almost 50% of my capital. My view of trading changed. And so far as of now we are just in the 3rd month of 2016 and somehow I already recovered almost 50% of my loss. Thanks for your post!
ReplyDeleteLeverage only when you have mastered at least one setup that can give you almost sure money. You don't want to be leveraging on losses.
DeleteWhat can you say about the SWAG from the Asshole of the Market?
ReplyDeleteIt can be effective when used properly on the correct parameters. But it is prone to early exits or shakeouts.
DeleteHahahahaha! natawa ako dun sa A-Hole of the Market hahahaha!!! Isama mo na yung mayabang na basurero ng Sesame Street! Hahahahaha!!!!
DeleteThanks for being generous on sharing your blog. God Bless
ReplyDeleteHello Zee,I've got some few question if I may:
ReplyDelete1. how do you search a stock? Is it when you saw it in the ticker, comes from a tip, or rigorously check 1 by 1 in the list?
2. I know you neglect news, do have some exceptions in not trading on holidays or special events (like terror attacks)?
Ok ung message nung blog at nakakainspire naman talaga but i beg to disagree with hooking things up with God specially quoting Matthew 6:33. I just cant find where is it exactly here you have "seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness". Remember when Jesus asked the rich guy to donate all of his riches so that he can enter the Kingdom of God? The point is you wont be able to serve two masters its either God or Material Things. Saying its to god be the glory just wont cut it for someone to enter his kingdom it requires proving it as stated in James 2:26. Its kind of weird to use successful acquisition of material things as a proven medium to preach God's word.
ReplyDeleteThis is series 07 of 07. Read the rest and tell me if your stand stays. ;)
DeleteSame, I also believe you will only make money your master IF YOU LET IT. For me money can become an enabler, to actually serve your primary master which is God. If trading can unlock me riches which I can share to the less fortunate or create self sustaining projects/efforts for them why not? Additionally, trading can provide me the FREEDOM OF TIME - which is priceless in the sense that it can allow me more mobility to help other people in need. Just my 2 cents :)
DeleteAlright. So how do you suggest I put it? And just to be crystal clear, what exactly is your stand?
DeleteQ 1 : Should I not use The Word - specifically mat 6:33 to prove that God is able to give more than what we need when we seek out the Kingdom? If so, how do you suggest I say it?
Q 2 : Regarding your 2nd reply. So what is your point? After reading all the personal notes, Do you believe that money is my master?
i don't fully understand what's the point of Anonymous March 29 commenter here. but i think that he/she cannot just accept that Z is quoting God's word while dealing with all these amount of money. It's just one or the other.
DeleteBut come on, anonymous commenter, I am almost crying everytime I read Z's personal notes series, which shows how deep his faith in God is. Malachi 3:10, Luke 13:36, it has brought more impact to me through Z's experience. this guy for sure is one of the testimony of God's graciousness. I do hope Z can put more personal blogs especially about his trading journey and how much more of his faith has brought him further.
could you also please provide a link for all your personal notes like this one http://zeefreaks.blogspot.com/p/thp_24.html
ReplyDeletethanks!
